Bontrager Gloves, the Satellite or Rhythm Gloves

Bicycles and AccessoriesFit wise the Bontrager Satellite gloves are excellent, especially in the fingers and thumb. The Satellite gloves have all the right features to be a good trail glove with a fleecy and gel padding on the lower thumb area and heel of the hand. Unfortunately it has two padded strips of Fusion Gel Foam running across the middle of the palm, and while we can understand Bontrager's thinking that they protect the area where calluses form they're far too bulky.

On some gloves I've cut off this padding for more direct contact with the handlebar but the construction of the Bontrager Satellite makes this impossible.

So if you've got girlie hands and want to keep them that way the Bontrager Satellite gloves are an excellent choice, but performance riders should stick with the Bontrager Rhythm gloves.

The Bontrager Rhythm gloves provide light-weight full-finger protection and control. A highly breathable Lycra mesh upper keeps the hands cool, while a reinforced Clarino palm protects against blisters and abrasions. Silicone grippers on the palm and fingertips provide a positive connection with brakes and handle bars, while an absorbent fleece thumb is there when you need it.
